Once the betting cycle of the first round is complete the dealer puts three cards on the table that everyone can use (community cards). This is called the flop. Another betting round ensues and the player with the strongest 5 poker hand wins.

It is important to know how your opponents play their hands. For example, if a player has a straight draw they should be aggressive with their bets to give themselves the best chance of winning. This also helps to prevent their opponent from calling their raises and makes it harder for them to fold if they have a strong hand.
